DECEMBER 2009 Physiotherapy - Self Referral

Self-referral ending for Chester Physiotherapy Centre:

From January 1st 2010 the self referral scheme to Chester Physiotherapy Centre will end - the centre will no longer be able to accept self referrals and patients will have to be referred into the service via the normal Choose and Book route. You will need to be referred via your GP.

Swine Flu Clinic 5th December - Erroneous Fines.

We apologise our patients for the recent letter and £50 fine notice that have been sent by our agents Total parking Solutions (TPS) to attendees of the above Swine Flu Clinic.  This was of course in error and regrettably has been sent out to the approx. 350 patients who attended here that day.

The Practice did give advance notice to TPS of the Swine Flu Clinic dates for the 5th December and also the next dates in January 2010. Unfortunately due to a clerical error at TPS, the system was not updated and the Swine Flu Clinic attendances were not recorded as valid usage.

We have instructed TPS to cancel all of the notices issued and also to write and confirm this to all patients and to apologise for the upset and inconvenience caused to them. I have also asked TPS to ensure that all future evening or Saturday clinics are recorded in their system and that our patients are not given this problem again in the future.

Again, please accept our sincere apologies.
