June 2004 - Medicine Name Changes
The name of one or more of your medicines may be changing.
This change is to help make sure that all medicines in the future
are known by one nontrademark name only (a non-trademark name
is the official name for the type of medicine).
Previously, some medicines had two different names which can cause
confusion.
You should always check that you are taking the right medicine if you
do not
recognise its name. If you are at all concerned that you may not
have received the correct medicine, please speak to your pharmacist
or doctor.
For more infromation see the official MHRA
Website. You can also contact NHSDirect on 0845
4647.
