calls to genuine emergency problems.
emisaccess is a secure Internet system whereby patients can perform,
on-line, certain tasks usually carried out over the
telephone or in person.
We are initially offering
the ability to book:
An appointment online at a time that suits you.
Your repeat medication
We hope emisaccess will benefit all of our patients, even those who
do not use it, in some way:
Those who book/cancel on-line can do so ‘out of hours’
Those who book/cancel on-line can avoid busy telephone
lines.
Those who need to telephone should find it easier to get through!
The system is run in conjunction with EMIS our clinical
software supplier. All doctors are now available to
book online, but nurses and other
clinical staff are not yet available.
You will need to apply to use the service first.
This involves agreeing to our Terms&Conditions. You can either visit
the surgery to sign or copy or click here to
download a copy which you can print complete and return to us.
You
must be aged 16 or over.
Once successful, your sign on details will be
sent to your registered address by post. These details contain:
The
surgery’s ID (2810) keep a note of this!
A temporary sign
ID
Your own permanent Access ID (treat this like your bank
PIN number)
Simple step by step instructions.
You will use these details to register on-line (via this website)
with the service (in a similar manner to on-line banking). It is at
this stage you will need to choose your own password to gain access
to the
system.
Once you have registered you can log on for the first time using
your Access ID and the password of your choice.
